1. Overview & Core Philosophy

Variatios Topology ("we", "our", or "the App") is an analytics, financial scenario simulation, and private portfolio tracking application for iOS and macOS. We believe your digital asset holdings and investment simulations are strictly your private business.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• No Wallet Private Keys or Seed Phrases: Variatios Topology never connects directly to custodial wallets or requests secret recovery phrases. All portfolio entries are manual user records.
• No Account Credentials: There is no sign-up, sign-in, or third-party authentication requirement.
• No Financial Transaction Tracking: We cannot view, initiate, execute, or manage on-chain transactions or funds on your behalf.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The application saves specific data solely inside your device’s sandbox environment (via fast, encrypted local storage):

• Manual Portfolio Records: Asset selections, quantities, purchase prices, and entry dates.
• User Preferences: Theme settings, custom price alert thresholds, and cached market views.
• Local Cache: Temporary public crypto price quotes (cached for 60 seconds) to ensure optimal performance and prevent excessive network requests.

This data never leaves your device and is permanently destroyed if you delete the application.

4. Third-Party Data Providers & API Services

To display live market quotes, charts, and global statistics, Variatios Topology communicates with public cryptocurrency data APIs (CoinGecko public endpoints). When making these public market requests:

• Only standard read-only queries for asset pricing are transmitted.
• Your portfolio balances, holding amounts, and personal IP identities are never linked with your portfolio records.
• No user profiling or cross-site tracking takes place.

5. Analytics & Diagnostics

Variatios Topology does not employ invasive third-party telemetry, ad networks, or trackers (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel). The application only relies on Apple's native, anonymized crash reporting and opt-in diagnostic logs provided through App Store Connect to fix software defects.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our application is not targeted at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new app enhancements or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted to this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date.
